So when you imagine yourself with something you want you are tuning into a real thing that already exists, and you are looking at the very frequency of you with your desire!
Now go step by step through a revolutionary process using your imagination. First, imagine something that you really want. It could be money, health, a particular job, a partner, a vacation, happiness, or anything else. Imagine yourself with your desire; close your eyes and really get the picture of yourself with your desire.
Pay special attention to what you see about yourself in your imagined picture. Notice how you are talking. Notice how you are moving. Notice how you are walking. Notice how you are acting. Notice how you are feeling. Look at everything about yourself in your imagined picture, but in particular, notice how happy you are! Capture every detail that you can, and open your eyes.

Understand that the picture you just imagined of yourself with your desire exists already! You know it exists because if it didn’t exist how could you tune into it? How could you see it in your imagination? When you imagined yourself, you were looking at the actual real version of you with your desire!
Can you see the difference between yourself right now and your imagined picture of yourself? Because your job is to become as much like the version of yourself in the picture as you can!

Walk like that now. Talk like that now. Act like that now. Feel the same as that, now. Become as happy as that person, now. Be that person, now! When you become the person in your imagined picture you have shifted yourself to the frequency of your desire, and it must and will appear. Your imagination is showing you precisely the person you need to become. It is showing you what you look like and how to act and feel so that you can copy it and become that person!
To help you become more and more like the person in your imagination, practice closing your eyes and seeing yourself in the imagined picture with your desire as many times as you want.

Seeing the imagined picture of yourself will continuously remind you how you need to be, feel, and act. Then come out of your imagination and go about your day doing your best to act and feel like that person, now. You will be amazed at how little copying it takes before you see the evidence that your desire is coming.
This is one of the most powerful processes you can ever do to make your desires appear with lightning speed. This process is based on the physics of the Universe. Use it! Practice it! You have The Power to your life; every force in the Universe will do anything for you, but you have to use The Power that you have!

Your mind and positive thinking

In order to be a positive person you have to put positive thoughts into your mind. Whenever you feel yourself thinking negative thoughts, say to yourself STOP! In addition, replace the thought immediately with a positive thought. The more you practice this the easier it will become. Here are some more tips to help you with positive thinking.

1. Use the power of laughter. Life is not meant to be serious all the time learn how to enjoy yourself and have more fun. No matter how bad things are, there is always something that can make you laugh. Turn on a good comedy or watch some standup comedy on TV if you have to in order to make yourself laugh. A good dose of laughter each day will make everything in your life seem to go easier.

2. Make sure to ask plenty of questions. Asking questions does not mean you are dumb, it just means that you would like to know more about a certain subject. The more you learn to understand the way things are and the more knowledge you gain the better you will feel about yourself.

3. Remember to always be grateful for your many blessings. It is much healthier to focus on all the things that you do have rather than what you don’t have. Do you have a roof over your head? Do you have food in your cupboards? These are things to be grateful for, as many people do not have them. Write down a list of all the things that you have to be grateful for and every time you start feeling negative or frustrated, read your list.

4. Before you go to sleep at night, say goodbye to all your worries. No matter what happened during the day that may make you unhappy, throw it away so you can start fresh the next day.

5. Don’t be afraid to ask other people for help. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. Many people are afraid to ask for any help because they think other people will think that means they cannot handle things on their own. You would be surprised at how much joy you can bring to somebody’s life by asking him or her for help. It helps build their self-esteem and confidence and once you have received their help, it will increase your level of joy as they have helped you to solve your problem.

Just by doing these simple things, you can make quite a big difference in how you feel and build your confidence. When your confidence is high, it is less likely that you will have negative thoughts in your mind. When you are feeling confident, you have positive thoughts and with positive thoughts, you attract positive people and things into your life.

From Secret’s Daily Teachings – Send Email to the Universe

Imagine writing an email of what you want to the Universe. When you are happy that your email is very clear, you hit “Send” and you know your request has gone into the ethers. You also know that the Server of the Universe is an automatic system, and it doesn’t question email requests. Its job is simply to fulfil every request.

If you begin to worry and stress that you haven’t got what you wanted, then you have just sent another email to the Universe to stop your order. And then you wonder why you haven’t received what you asked for.

Once you Ask, know that the Server of the Universe is an automatic infallible system that never fails, and expect to receive your request!

Book Preview: The Grand Design

The real nature of a reality is beyond the contours of the conditioned mind and is yet to be explored.

According to the famous British physicist – Dr. Stephen Hawking, the universe was created as a result of the precise and inevitable laws of physics and not with God’s help.

The Grand Design

Below is an excerpt from his latest book – “The Grand Design“:

“Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist.”

He has also rejected the theory quoted by Sir Isaac Newton that the universe did not immediately begin to form, but was set in motion by the God.

Earlier, in Hawking’s most famous work ‘A Brief History of Time’, he did not dismiss the possibility that God had a hand in the creation of the world.

“If we discover a complete theory, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason – for then we should know the mind of God,” he had written in the 1988 book.

The book has been co-written by American physicist Leonard Mlodinow.

Our Lives and Lies

As child, when I lost a milk-tooth, my mother told me to place it under my pillow at night. I was told that the next morning, the tooth would be gone and in its place, I would find some money. I had no reason not to believe in such an obliging Tooth Fairy.

A few decades later, on a Christmas morning in New York, I saw my little nephew run to his Christmas stocking bulging with goodies. It was a huge, decorated stocking – almost three-feet-tall. I had picked it up for him in London. My sister always found it difficult to fill it and sometimes just stuffed the big foot with oranges, which always made the little one grumble about Father Christmas’s notion of presents. Father Christmas, Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny – these are only some of the tall tales we grow up with.

As we grow up, social lies become so common we can no longer identify them. It is familiar enough – to say or hear – something like, “I rang you but couldn’t get through”. Often, you might ring someone only to have them tell you, “I was just thinking of calling you!”

Once upon a time, when teenagers were still expected to obey their parents, they would tell an awful amount of lies. As a teenager, I fibbed to my parents when bunking class for matinee shows with my best friend (she’s now a responsible cog in the Foreign Service). I am sure today’s teenagers don’t fib because nobody dare say anything to them anymore.

Then, there is the lies couples tell each other, especially when they are courting. Men and women often woo each other for reasons that have nothing to do with love. Ever tried to caution your friend against a gold digger? Your advice will not only fall on deaf ears, it may even turn your friend against you. Instead, the lies, half-truths and excuses dished out by the alluring siren / stud will be gospel for the smitten lover.

After the wedding, the cards will fall where they may. If it comes to divorce, one party will try to cheat the other by lying about cash and assets. Perhaps, only fairy tales end with the words “and they lived happily ever after”.

There are many social climbers but fewer social mountaineers. I know two women who have successfully scaled Everest, socially speaking. Jane Austen’s novel opened with the famous lines: “It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” Novels are the great lie. Great stacks of them exist and are cherished by us. Some of the greatest characters of our times never existed – Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot and now Harry Potter. We love them all!

History books are often a mix of outright lies, embroidered facts and distorted perspectives. Flesh-andblood figures who might have led a rollicking and roistering life when not fighting wars or writing great poetry are sanitized and converted into two-dimensional heroes. Revisionist history is the worst offender because it is manipulated to suit the agenda of a few.

And the lies they tell about God! If one had to compile a list of all the nasty habits attributed to God, it would be enough to frighten everyone away. They talk about the wrath of God; the avenging God; the punishment that will be meted out if you don’t do exactly what ‘they’ say. There are so many myths in each faith that one might well wonder how much does religion have to do with God? The fabrication allows ‘them’ to grab power. Unlike in a corporation, no one can question this. What have they done to God? Where’s the sheer joy of living with God?

There are so many words to describe lies in this world, from euphemisms to grave ones such as mendacity, deception, dishonesty, swindling, perjury. As in the difference between “first degree murder”, “manslaughter”, “accidental death” and “self defence”, there is a hierarchy in lies.

One of the most crucial acts of deception in history, which still reverberates 2,000 years later, must be the kiss of Judas. After the Last Supper, Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane when Judas approached him, accompanied by soldiers and officials of the chief priests and Pharisees. In the ultimate act of betrayal, Judas kissed Jesus to identify him to the soldiers.

Public and political lies affect our lives. The 19th century British prime minister Benjamin Disraeli cried: Lies, damned lies and statistics. Mark Twain popularized this phrase still further. Statistics can be used to support any argument a government wants its people to believe. Statistics depend on how a sample is taken, what questions are asked and the conclusions arrived at by asking leading questions. The public rarely gets to know the truth of what’s going on. In India, rumour and counter-rumour is all we have to show for many great political and financial scandals. There is no closure because we’ll never know the truth. Recent high-profile criminal cases demonstrate people’s readiness to lie under oath.

The inference must be that the volume of lies circulating in the world outweighs the truth. We’ve all heard that a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth. Today’s socially-networked generation ensures that a lie can go round the world in no time at all, provided it can be summed up in 140 characters.

Reiki Meditation

Regular practice of the simple two-way technique of Reiki meditation can not only help you improve your focus and awaken you spiritually, but also can amplify your innate healing abilities to help you achieve holistic health

Maintaining a high level of life force energy, prana, is a pre-requisite for holistic health, achieved through practice of various techniques that can generate balance between body and mind, such as yoga, Tai Chi, Quantum Touch, or Reiki, to name just a few. All of them employ one or the other form of meditation as an important component for treatment at the physical, mental, and emotional levels.

The two-in-one Reiki meditation technique deftly combines the healing powers of both meditation and Reiki. The benefits accruing from them increase manifold as a consequence of synergy generated by blending them together. What keeps Reiki meditation apart from other meditation forms is its unique ability to strengthen the innate healing capability of the practitioner.

Mikao Usui revived the ancient art of tapping into the universal life force energy for healing known as Reiki. He was once asked by a pupil,” I have practised meditation for a number of years, why do I need to learn Reiki to help me learn to meditate?” Meditation is an integral part of Reiki. In his Reiki practice and teachings, Usui practised meditation as an important constituent. In fact, he often used Gassho (hands held in prayer position) meditation as a means to pass the ability to channel Reiki to the practitioner. Also, Osho Rajneesh who developed Osho Neo Reiki twenty years ago included powerful meditations for a faster healing.

After Mikao Usui, a number of forms of Reiki Meditations have found their way in Japan and other countries.

One of the simplest but effective RM involves the following steps:

1. Sit quietly with closed eyes in a Sukh Asana or upright in a chair, with both hands held in front of your chest in prayer `Gassho position and the soles of the feet joined together.

2. Connect to Reiki by simple intent or by drawing distant healing symbol

3. Draw the power symbol with your hand in front of you and say it three times. Visualise white light emanating from your fingers.

4. Visualise the symbol in the third eye chakra and meditate on it.

5. Now allow the symbol to float up as a brilliant light above your crown. Return your awareness to the third eye chakra.

6. When finished, relax and release your all thoughts. You feel fully energised with the healing energy

For those who do not possess the ability to channel Reiki, the Gassho meditation can be performed in this way:

1. Hold your hands a little above the chest in prayer position in such a way that that your exhaled breath can be felt at a point where the top of the middle fingers representing fire element meet the hands joined together.

2. Now focus your attention at that point and try to release stray thoughts by focussing at the point repeatedly. Do not try to chase stray thoughts. Return your focus to the point by pressing the two middle fingers against each other.

Practise RM for twenty minutes a day or as long as you feel comfortable. Reiki Meditation deftly combines the usual healing effects of simple meditation techniques with Reiki and works in more ways than one.

Personal Power

I read recently that “Our personal power is a direct reflection of our own sense of compassion and inner voice.” This very much describes power as I’ve experienced it in my own life, but I don’t think it’s commonly thought of in this way.

Power is found in our connection with what is highest within ourselves. It is that place that allows us to respond with compassion to all that we encounter, because we know that nothing can diminish the truth of infinite good within us. When someone treats us less than kindly, we can respond with power in our compassionate and honest communication back to them. When bad things happen or when circumstances cause us to feel vulnerable, we can respond with power in affirming that we are calling to ourselves an opportunity to know fully the loving and divine order that steers all of life.

People often perceive power as the ability to override others and by sheer will get our own way. We wrongly believe that in most situations someone wins and someone loses, and so power comes from exerting enough force to win. But the truth is, power is not born of competition but of communication. Only in communication can we understand and cooperate, and thereby raise the energy of our interactions with others to one that serves the best and highest for all. In doing so, we express God within us, and that is true power. Living as our Godselves is the highest power there is.

We are often taught that power comes from living with a good offense as our best defense, remaining ever-vigilant and always ready to respond to another’s jab with an even stronger punch. Within this dynamic, the over-riding lie that controls communication and prevents any type of harmony is that we are not safe, therefore we have to spend a good deal of energy warding off what other people might do to us. We end up creating, through our own false belief, our own victimization.

Power has nothing to do with how others perceive us, but with how we stop to hear the quiet voice of spirit within us. It is not a reaction to what we fear will be invalidated in us, but rather a decision we make again and again to share the truth of who we are, and all that we have to give.
I am reminded of a prayer from Unity: “There is only one presence and one power in the universe and in my life, God the Good.” That, to me, is what power is all about, in our ability to know the truth of our own limitless good.

God Fearing or God Loving?

Happiness has been the quest of every human being from the start of the world. People tend to go amok when they have money and power. But, contentment is the key to happy life. Very often you will find that the man who does not have any riches leads a contented life. Stick to your needs, greed is endless. Religion and spirituality are two different things. Some people achieve spirituality simply by meditation. Many people don’t feel that going to temples, mosques and other places of worship is necessary. Some believe in Sufism.

You just need to be true to yourself, to your family and your society. If you can’t help, at least make sure that you don’t harm anyone. We must try to maintain harmony around us. We must be not only God-loving but also people loving individuals. When people say that they are God-fearing, that is the wrong thing to say.

Do you do good deeds because you are afraid of God? I am God-loving, not God-fearing. I have strong beliefs in myself. My belief in God comes from them. We all have so far realized that life and death are a cycle and we eventually learn to come to terms with the loss. You see, even when you are in your mother’s womb, and the moment you are born, death starts chasing you. Death is the ultimate reality. And one has to design his own destiny by the path he follows till he reaches the end.

Emperor Ashok realized after the Kalinga war that war is a dirty thing, innocent people are killed. We must eliminate fear in the common man’s mind. There are fear and doubts being spread by everyone around us – be it news or politicians or administrative departments of our country.

“You are not safe anywhere. Our country is the most unsafe place in the world today.”

But this state is the result of deprivation. A deprived person cannot live on an exalted plane. It’s for the country’s leaders to bring in equality, irrespective of caste, class and religion. It’s only then can we truly become a spiritual nation.
